Princess Madeleine and Chris O'Neill joined the family for the service which lasted just under an hour and took place not long after King Carl XVI Gustaf had announced the baby prince's names to the world. Oscar Carl Olof, Duke of Skane is now third in line to Sweden's throne.
The little prince was born at 8.28pm on March 2nd 2016 at the Karolinska Hospital in Solna. He weighed 8lbs and measured 22 inches at birth. His arrival was also celebrated at noon on March 3rd with a 21 gun salute, carried live on Swedish TV.
Oscar is the second child of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel and has been born almost exactly four years after the arrival of their daughter, Princess Estelle.
