His baby son has just turned a week old but Prince Daniel is back in the royal swing of things. The prince has carried out two public engagements this week - daddy Daniel is back on duty.

OK, we saw him at the Te Deum just after Prince Oscar was born but that was more of a family celebration. This week has seen Daniel head off to a seminar and hold an audience with senior health experts.

Daniel held his audience at the Royal Palace in Stockholm where he met Professor Mai-Lis Hellenius and Professor David Dunstan to talk about the benefits of moving away from a sedentary lifestyle. The prince also took part in a seminar in Stockholm on issues linked to the upcoming UK referendum on membership of the European Union which was held by the Student Association of Business and Policy Studies.

When he spoke to reporters just after the birth of Prince Oscar, Daniel said he wasn't sure what being a father of two felt like yet - his daughter, Estelle, turned four on February 23rd. But as he headed off on his engagements this week he may well have had a better idea. Daddy Daniel is back to work.
