Royal Rio 2016: good luck from Kensington Palace

Prince Harry gets the party started in a good luck message for this year's Olympic Games

The Games are almost on us but while Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is owning Rio right now, other royals are starting to embrace the Olympic spirit. And straight out of the blocks with a gold medal winning performance are the Kensington Palace relay team of William, Kate and Harry.

With just one day to go until the 2016 Summer Olympics start, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have sent a good luck message to the British stars taking part in Rio. They're asking them to Bring on the Great but while William and Kate got behind the team, it was Harry who got behind the slogan complete with hand gestures. He's turning into a one man royal revolution.

The royals won't be in Rio which means auntie Anne will be the sole British representative at Rio and her duties are already under way as she welcomed Team GB to Brazil and posed for photos with them and the flag. The Princess Royal is sticking with tradition while the most famous faces at Kensington Palace get Rio ready with a hashtag - let the Games begin and #BringontheGreat.
