The Countess of Wessex is keeping up the cake count, we all need to be very proud. As Sophie cycles her way from Scotland to England, she needs plenty of energy to help her complete the 436 mile route from Holyrood Palace to Buckingham Palace. And on day two, she's posed again for team photos with cake in hand. Total respect to the Countess.
The latest cake stop came in Corbridge as the sun shone on Sophie's cycle ride. The Countess of Wessex had arrived in Northumberland on Monday afternoon as the epic trip got under way and before she left, she was determined to refuel.

Sophie is carrying out her cycle ride as a Diamond Challenge to mark the 60th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. She said at the end that she knew day two was always going to be the hardest and that she was looking forward to day three with not so many hills or miles. Everyone else is looking forward to seeing her achieve another step in this big goal and hoping for another cake photo. The cycle ride is impressive enough, the cake is taking it to new heights. Go, Sophie.
