Charlene's love match

She's had a low profile since Easter but today Princess Charlene was back in the spotlight as she and Prince Albert II watched the final of the Monte Carlo Masters. There were smiles, there were kisses and there was some record breaking just for good measure - love all in Monaco.

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco have enjoyed a day at the tennis

Albert and Charlene were at the final of the Monte Carlo Masters Series to see a comeback king in action. Rafa Nadal hasn't had the best of seasons recently and stepped out on court for the final against Gael Monfils hoping for a win to re-establish his superiority on clay. In the end he won in three sets, taking his ninth title - a record.

The royal couple watched the match unfold looking very sharp and very co-ordinated. Charlene had chosen a blue jacket, black cut off trousers and white top which matched her husband's dark suit rather well.

Albert didn't have the advantage of Charlene's killer reflective shades and the princess added in some diamond earrings that take some beating for good measure.

The Prince and Princess of Monaco helped present the trophies and there were kisses for the players and big smiles for the cameras as the ceremony unfolded.

Charlene surprised many with this appearance but it may be a sign of an increased agenda as her twins get bigger and she takes on more engagements. Spring is starting with a love match in Monaco.
